Who can apply
The owner of the building, the owner of the property or their legally authorised representative.
Required documents
- Written request (dilekçe)
- The block and parcel details of the property; for new buildings, the date and number of the building permit
How it works
- Apply to the Zoning and Urban Planning Directorate with a written request.
- The building is identified on site; a door number is assigned and the address is entered in the national address database.
Good to know
- In metropolitan provinces, addresses and numbering are the responsibility of the Metropolitan Municipality and may be delegated to district municipalities (Law No. 5216, Art. 7).
- Notification of your address of residence (ikametgâh) is made to the civil registry office (nüfus müdürlüğü) or through e-Government (e-Devlet).
