Refuse collection, bins and garden waste

Time: You will be informed about your application within 30 days at the latest (Law No. 3071, Art. 7).
Fee: The household solid waste collection fee is set according to the municipal council’s solid waste tariff, added to the water bill and collected through MUSKİ.

Who can apply

Everyone who lives or has a business in Ula.

Put your waste out in tied bags, in the bins and in line with the collection times announced by the Municipality.
To request a bin, report uncollected waste or make a complaint about cleaning, call the Sanitation Directorate: +90 (252) 242 30 08, ext. 153.
Garden and pruning waste is also collected by the Sanitation Directorate; let it know before putting out bulky waste.

A 50 per cent reduction in the solid waste fee applies to recipients of the old-age pension, families of martyrs, veterans and residents with a disability of 40 per cent or more (2025 Solid Waste Tariff).
Construction and demolition waste (rubble) may not be left in the bins: Excavation and construction waste.
The sanitary landfilling and disposal of waste is the responsibility of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality.
Those who pollute the environment are given an administrative fine under Article 41 of the Misdemeanours Law.
