How it works
- You can attend council meetings; the agenda is announced in advance.
- Summaries of finalised decisions are on the Council decisions page.
- For the full text or a copy of a decision you can make a freedom of information request: Freedom of information request.
Good to know
- Summaries of finalised council decisions are announced to the public by appropriate means within seven days (Law No. 5393, Art. 23).
- Opinions formed in the citizens’ council (kent konseyi) are placed on the agenda of the first meeting of the municipal council (Art. 76).
