- For an alteration permit: a design showing the change
- For a demolition permit: the documents listed in the Regulation on the Demolition of Buildings (Binaların Yıkılması Hakkında Yönetmelik), namely the demolition plan and the documents on those responsible for the demolition
How it works
- Minor repairs and alterations that do not affect the load-bearing structure, such as painting, plastering, cladding, joinery, installations and roof repairs, do not require a permit.
- An alteration permit is required for work that affects a load-bearing element or changes the usable area of the building.
- The demolition permit is issued within 15 days at the latest after a complete application.
- Once the demolition is complete, the burnt and demolished buildings form is drawn up by the Municipality within 30 days.
Good to know
- Thermal insulation, a solar energy system for the building’s own needs and conversion to natural gas do not require a permit; however, the Municipality’s permission, a design and a written undertaking are required.
