Tayfun Yılmaz, Secretary-General of the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, visited the Municipality of Ula together with the heads of department of the Metropolitan Municipality. At the meeting held during the visit, the priority short- and long-term projects of the district of Ula and its current problems were discussed.

In a statement after the meeting, the Mayor of Ula, Mehmet Caner, said that they had held a productive discussion with officials of the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality on important projects for the development of Ula. Mayor Caner said: “We discussed in detail the projects that are of great importance for Ula, in terms of both infrastructure and superstructure. In our short-term projects we have taken steps that will provide solutions to the urgent needs of our district. For the long term, we have drawn up our plans to make Ula a more liveable district. In this process, the support of the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality is very valuable to us.”

Tayfun Yılmaz, Secretary-General of the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, said in his statement that Ula has very high development potential and that cooperation between the municipalities will continue and grow stronger.
